Ever feel like your kids are growing faster than you can keep up with? Being a mom of three, I am constantly juggling clothes, shoes, and accessories for all of their ages and all of the seasons! I’m so happy to collaborate with Shoe Carnival and learn more about their amazing selection of shoes and accessories.

They have many great stores in and around the Philadelphia area. We visited their Lehigh Valley location (Whitehall Mall), but there are two in the city and others in surrounding suburbs such as Willow Grove, Bensalem and Upper Darby. Click HERE for a list of all their locations.



Shopping trips aren’t always the easiest with small kids, but my boys especially were due for a new pair of shoes. “Rough and tumble” is exactly how I would describe their personalities AND how they beat up their shoes!



As soon as we got to the store, Chloe went her own way and found the perfect pair of winter boots! Her perfect pair was the Makalu Cozy Land boots in a soft gray with adorable pom-poms! She was sold and didn’t need to look any further!




Then we looked for the baby in the sneaker section and to my absolute surprise, they had the pair we loved for him and his four-year-old brother AND, wait for it…. EVEN DAD!! We went with the Nike Flex Contact Sneaker in a fun gray and green print! I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve tried to buy them all matching sneakers at every major store and have struck out every single time… until we went to Shoe Carnival!





I have been after some suede black booties for the longest time. After browsing for a couple of minutes, I was immediately drawn to the Steve Madden Fannia Booties because they are flat, easy to walk in and are casual enough to go with my everyday looks. I’ve been living in nothing but jeans and sweaters lately and these were the perfect booties to complete my fall/winter wardrobe!



Shoe Carnival is easy to navigate and the prices are fantastic! All of their great name brand shoes are so affordable! Plus, they had a giant wheel you could spin for extra savings, which of course, the kids LOVED! Be sure to check them out online or in-store for some amazing deals for the whole family!

We've been using Silver Orchid Photography since 2012 when Chloe was just a little munchkin! I fell in love with Tara's editing style and her natural ability to capture candid moments, which is not always easy with kids, especially toddlers. I look forward to these photos every year, not just for Christmas cards, but because I like to update our family pictures around the house.


Upon meeting Tara, you can instantly tell she truly loves her job and I cherish the moments, snapshots of our life that I receive every year from her work. She is passionate about what she does and makes the kids feel very comfortable and relaxed, which in turn brings our their personality on camera!

I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Ashlyn Bausman of Sulimay's Urban Salon for a full hair make-over featuring Hair Talk Extensions. Ashlyn is an excellent stylist specializing in tape in extensions.

I've used the clip in versions most of the summer, but I have to say, it was becoming increasingly annoying to have to take them in and out morning and night. You can see my post HERE all about clip-ins.





I love these extensions! Ashlyn made the process super easy and it really didn't take a long time to complete the install. If you are considering extensions, here is everything you need to know...



These extensions are so light weight and feel very natural. To care for them make sure you follow these rules:

1. Sulfate and Silicone free hair products (Ashlyn recommends Living Proof)
2. Avoid conditioner near the roots
3. No alcohol (hair spray or perfume)
4. Brush them out at night and put in a braid or two buns to keep them from tangling
5. Have them adjusted every 6-8 weeks (use this time to touch up your color while they are out)

I know what you're thinking... why on earth would we be test driving a compact SUV with three kiddos?? Truth be told, I'm always planning ahead and as the kids get older, I would love to drive something more sporty and compact. When Porsche of Conshohocken reached out to see if I'd be interested in learning more about the Macan, I jumped at the chance!


I've driven four cars in my lifetime and all of them were white, so I was thrilled they had a white Macan available to take out. What I noticed immediately is how smooth this car drives. It is completely different than what I'm used to. I'd compare it to driving a sports car the way it hugs the road. Inside is more roomy than it appears on the outside with plenty of trunk space to accommodate  a stroller, groceries or a trip to Costco!

The design of the car is sleek and sexy, but also sturdy and able to withstand three rough-and-tumble kids. Porsche is definitely built to last!




If you're looking for luxury with a sporty feel, the Macan is definitely worth looking at. The staff at Porsche of Conshohocken were extremely courteous and friendly. As female who doesn't have extensive knowledge about cars, they made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions leaving me feeling confident in what I learned. For example, the Macan can go 0-60 MPH in under five seconds, in case you wondered! It also has a backup camera and parking sensors, two features I love!

It's also worth mentioning the interior controls/display are top notch! I love the modern feel of the Macan. As a mom who still wants to have a car that reflects her personality, the Macan is practical meets stylish and I loved driving it! I think the kids had just as much fun as I did bouncing around in the backseat and trunk!

We spend so much time in the car, I often feel like a chauffeur shuffling the kids from one place to the next. It's important for me to have a car that is safe, comfortable and stylish-- the Macan definitely does not disappoint!
