For this year's family photos I wanted a full autumn color palette. Our original plan was to shoot at a local farm, but weather caused us to move everything to Longwood Gardens. I'm so glad our photographer suggested Longwood! There is a stunning backdrop everywhere you turn!

Huge thank you to Carly Landolt Photography. Carly did an amazing job navigating the gardens and chose the perfect greenhouse with natural stone and greenery for our colorful looks. She has a great eye for capturing candid moments while still offering direction and poses. Please check out more of her work with the links below.

Cozy vibes are everywhere this season! Who doesn't love a great faux fur jacket to keep you warm and stylish?! Allison, of the Savvy Camel blog, and I had a fun shoot (shot by her talented hubby Charlie) at Ott's Exotic plants.

Before we dive into the our faux fur picks, let's talk about Ott's! I remember going here years ago as a kid, but haven't visited this spot in a LONG time! You'll recognize Ott's immediately when driving by because you cannot miss the giant mum mountain, of which it's known for. This greenhouses are incredible! They even have a 40 year old fiddle leaf fig tree, which happen to be very trendy right now in the world of house plants. It's definitely worth visiting Ott's if you're in the Schwenksville area.

For this post, Allison and I put our heads together and came up with our shopping picks for faux fur coats and jackets this season (you'll find them at the bottom). We have a few leopard picks, some neutrals and some pops of color. Also, various lengths and cuts.

The coat I'm wearing in these photos is a pale pink color from ASOS coming in at $64. Most of the price points we chose are below $100 and all of them are below $150.

I'll keep this short and sweet-- here are my picks for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 :)

Enjoy and happy shopping!!

I had a lovely afternoon of shopping and lunch with a few of my favorite local bloggers at the new King of Prussia Town Center. There are so many great shops and restaurants to explore! My favorite part was the open seating right in the center of it all. This space is great for lunching and lounging.

We had a delicious meal at Davio's Restaurant, located right in the center of all the action on Main Street. My favorite menu items were the Tagliatelle Bolognese (Braised Veal, Beef, Pork, Tomato Sauce) and the American Kobe Beef Meatballs. All of the food was excellent and the service was just as great! I will definitely be bringing my husband back for that Bolognese!

Throughout the space you will find a bunch of beautiful backgrounds created by local watercolor artist Stephanie Corfee. Her work incorporates bold pops of color, instantly brightening up your day!

I love catching up with these ladies! If you want to shop any of our outfits, please scroll to the bottom of this post! Thanks for reading and be sure to make it out to the new town center! I've already booked my calendar for a night out with dinner and some holiday shopping!

The new town center has a giant Nordstrom Rack that is well organized and has some great deals! The boots I'm wearing are $70, come in five colors and have a heel option. I got the flat boot in gray. My top is $25 and comes in four colors. I'm wearing Mossy Green.
