I received a digital photo frame as a gift which sat in a closet for the longest time because I was unsure of how to make the black work with the warm colors in my home.

Then I stumbled across Hammered Brown spray paint at Home Depot.... and I thought, why didn't I think of this sooner! The frame unscrewed easily from the unit that displays the photos. The texture adds a unique element.

Another option is to apply an ‘antique’ finish. Spray the frame a dark color, let dry, spray with a light color and rub the edges with a rag. This option will also work by first spraying a light color then a dark.
